Meteor is a highly competitive classic yacht within the International Dragon Class, a 29.2-foot one-design keelboat renowned for its precision racing and timeless design, distinct from traditional paddling dragon boats.
Originally conceived in 1929, the class combines elegance with performance at the highest level of competition. Built in 1963 by Pedersen & Thuesen, Meteor exemplifies the enduring competitiveness of classic wooden boats in modern racing.
In recent seasons, she has achieved outstanding results on the international stage, including victories at the Edinburgh Cup in 2025 and the 55th Princess Sofia Trophy Mallorca in 2026.
